Description
This Lemon Tahini Dressing is a creamy and healthy salad dressing that is perfect for any tahini lovers. It’s easy to make in 5 minutes and great for quinoa salads or other bowl recipes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 3 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp water
- 3 1/2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add the tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, water, maple syrup, Dijon, garlic, salt and pepper to a glass jar with a sealed lid.
- Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until all the ingredients are well-combined and the dressing is smooth. If the ingredients don’t mix well with shaking alone, use a small metal whisk to break up the tahini before shaking everything together again.
Notes
- If you DON’T like tahini: If you don’t like the taste of tahini, you won’t like this dressing. Unlike other dressings that use tahini as an ingredient for creaminess (such as this Balsamic Date Dressing), this recipe really does taste like Tahini & Lemon. If you want a creamy lemon dressing that doesn’t taste like tahini, try this Lemon Dijon Dressing instead.
