This Sweetgreen umami seasoning recipe is a copycat recipe of Sweetgreen’s famous seasoning used in a number of their salad recipes. If you want to make copycat Sweetgreen salads at home, you’ll need this homemade umami seasoning.

- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
Instructions
- Add the nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt and red chili flakes to small bowl.
- Mix well until all the spices are evenly combined.
Notes
- Storage: Store this umami seasoning in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 to 4 months.
- Using umami seasoning. This umami seasoning can be used to season roasted vegetables, such as sweet potatoes, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower.
