Description
This Sweetgreen Caramelized Garlic Steak recipe is a copycat homemade version of one Sweetgreen’s famous salads. This protein packed bowl is healthy, filling and absolutely delicious.

- 1 cup wild rice, cooked
- 1/2 cup cast-iron steak, sliced
- 1/3 cup spicy roasted broccoli
- 1/3 cup roasted sweet potatoes
- 1/3 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 to 2 oz pesto vinaigrette
Instructions
- Add the wild rice, sliced steak, roasted broccoli, sweet potatoes and cherry tomatoes to a large salad bowl.
- Top with pesto vinaigrette, toss to combine and enjoy.
Notes
- Roasted veggies: Sweetgreen uses their umami seasoning to flavor their roasted veggies. If you want to save time, you can use a more basic seasoning of olive oil, salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 425F and roast the sweet potatoes for about 25 minutes and the broccoli for about 15 minutes.
- Dressing substitution: As a substitute for the pesto vinaigrette, you can use this Sweetgreen balsamic vinaigrette or this classic red wine vinaigrette.
